Ho Ho Ho Holiday Roll Tractor Parade

Saturday, December 6, 2026 | 5PM - 6PM | City Park, Vergennes

✨ Hot Chocolate • Cookies • S’mores • Music ✨

S.D. Ireland Holiday Mixer Truck @5:00 PM | Tractor Parade @5:15 PM

An exciting new holiday tradition has rolled into the Little City!

A festive lineup of tractors, riding mowers, and side-by-sides decked out in holiday lights — with costumed drivers behind the wheels — will once again bring extra sparkle and cheer to downtown this year. For our inaugural parade last year, we had 25 tractors and over 1,200 people line the route! We expect this year be even more spectacular with more tractors and a longer parade route!

In City Park, Vergennes Partnership volunteers and Northlands Job Corps students will be serving up hot chocolate and cookies, while Berkshire Hathaway Home Service Vermont Realty Group will be offering s’mores with marshmallows roasting over fire pits. Once the much-anticipated S.D. Ireland Holiday Mixer Truck has made its appearance at City Park around 5PM, the parade will commence. Be sure to look for Santa and Mrs. Claus riding along!

Prizes will be awarded to parade entries for Best Lighting Design in both Adult & Junior categories.

Help make our 2nd Annual Holiday Roll Tractor Parade a success!
— Join the fun by entering your favorite tractor — register online above OR in person at the National Bank of Middlebury (29 Green St, Vergennes; drive-through option is available), or
— Bundle up and head downtown to have some treats and enjoy the show!

We envision this event becoming one of Vergennes’ most eagerly-awaited traditions — a magical evening where hundreds gather to celebrate our rural roots, local creativity, and the community spirit that makes Vergennes so special.

If you would like to join us as a parade participant or volunteer and have questions, please contact Christine Garrow at vergennespartnership@gmail.com or 802.398.7399.
