One day. One community. Endless fun.
Start your morning with a classic pancake breakfast at the Fire Department, cheer on runners at the Little City Road Races, then spend the day exploring 55+ crafters and vendors around the park. Enjoy live music on the bandstand, kids’ activities that keep smiles going strong, horse-and-wagon rides through town, and the Lions Club’s famous chicken BBQ you wait all year for.
Pop into special happenings at the Bixby Library, reconnect with neighbors, and discover something new around every corner.
Vergennes Day isn’t just an event—it’s a tradition. Mark your calendar, bring your friends, and come celebrate everything that makes the Little City shine.
Groovin' on the Green
🎶🔥 Groovin’ on the Green is where fall begins! 🔥🎶
The 4th Annual Groovin’ on the Green is taking over City Park for one unforgettable night of music, flavor, and full-on Little City energy. When the leaves start to turn, we turn up the volume.
Grab your friends, bring the kids, and head to the green for an evening packed with live music, delicious food, games, dancing, and pure community joy.

Ho Ho Ho Holiday Roll Tractor Parade
Join us for our Second Annual Lighted Tractor Parade!
Festivities will begin in Vergennes City Park with hot chocolate, cookies, marshmallow roasting over fire pits, and music (4:30pm - 6pm) while we await the arrival of the S.D. Ireland Holiday Mixer Truck (~5pm). Then the Tractor Parade will begin at the Champlain Valley Christian School and roll through downtown with a grand finish circling City Park. Keep an eye out for Santa and Mrs. Claus!
The parade route: Church Rd - New Haven Rd - Green St - Main St - North St - Park St.

Don’t have time to shop for the holidays during the day? We have you covered! Head to Vergennes for MAGIC ON MAIN to SHOP-SIP-WIN!
MAGIC ON MAIN brings extended shopping hours to downtown Vergennes — all Main Street & Green Street shops will be OPEN UNTIL 7PM on THURSDAY, DECEMBER 10.
Starting at 4PM, enjoy festive drinks, treats, store giveaways, and fun activities to keep your holiday spirit glowing while you check gifts off your list. Individual shop specials can be found at the link below.
